2nd Munich Bioinformatics Day

Munich Bioinformatics Retreat 2012

All academic Bioinformatics and Computational Biology groups working in Munich are invited to contribute to the second Munich Bioinformatics Retreat. All groups have been invited to present their group and latest research in a short presentation (approx. 20 min plus discussion). 

Confirmed speakers: Johannes Söding, Caroline Friedel, Fabian Theis, Dmitrij Frishman, Julien Gagneur, Iris Antes

Furthermore, there will be a poster session where all students, PhD students an d Post-Docs are invited to present their latest research. Please register your posters!
The poster size should be max. 130 cm high x 90 cm wide. Fasteners will be provided at the site.

The program ends with the BIM Class 2012 Graduation Ceremony. 

The retreat is free of charge.

Graduation Ceremony / Absolventenfest

Directly after the Retreat (at 3 pm) begins the 8. Bioinformatics Munich Graduation Ceremony, taking place in the Senatssaal of Ludwig-Maximilians-Universität. The programme can be found in time table below as well as in the official programme.

Am Freitag, 15. Juni 2012 findet im Anschluss an das Retreat (ab 15 Uhr) die 8. Absolventenfeier der Münchener Bioinformatik-Studiengänge im Senatssal der LMU statt. Nachstehend sowie in der offiziellen Einladung zu den Feierlichkeiten können Sie das Programm nachlesen.
